Where academia, hi-tech and a growing ecosystem meet

Gav-Yam Negev is an academia and business park that, within a short period of time, has become a magnet for global leaders in technology, business and academia, who are on the search for new opportunities and a direct link to Israeli innovation and human capital. The unique connection that exists in the park between veterans of the IDF’s elite tech units and alumni of Ben Gurion University on the one hand, and hi-tech functionaries and investors on the other, brings the entire Israeli ecosystem together in one place – academia, industry and the technology units.

Progressing toward the future: A new building in the park at the highest standard

Currently a new and advanced building is being constructed in the park, with an area of 15 thousand sqm, designed by architect Moshe Zur. The building, which is expected to be occupied in Q2 of 2025, was constructed in accordance with the highest standards and LEED Gold Certification – a stringent international standard that attests to excellence in green construction, energy conservation and an innovative, high quality work environment. The new building joins the premier complex for tech companies and offers an advanced, smart and inspirational work environment.

The hi-tech park of Israel

Gav-Yam Negev hi-tech park fulfills the vision of a desert in bloom, being an innovative and novel work environment attracting the world’s leading tech companies. The park creates a synergistic connection between the best minds of the IDF’s tech elite, academia and Israeli hi-tech. As a result, the park has become a magnet for executives from around the world who come to closely study its innovative ecosystem, and was recently recognized as Israel’s national cyber center.

Joining forces

Gav-Yam Negev represents a unique model of cooperation between the public sector, the business sector, academia and technology. The park is the result of cooperation between Gav-Yam (company’s share 73.25%), Ben Gurion University of the Negev, the Beer Sheva Municipality, the International Development Company, KUD (a subsidiary of the Japanese corporation Kajima) and private partners, with support from the Israeli government.

Advanced work environment

The park lies in the center of Beer Sheva’s new innovation quarter, adjacent to the campus of Ben Gurion University, Soroka University Medical Center, and the IDF’s new communications and IT campus. Gav-Yam Negev provides a state-of-the-art work environment customized to the needs of the global hi-tech industry, and its tenants benefit from green construction, holistic maintenance, a retail strip, special support for establishing operations, and more.

Breathtakingly beautiful

The park is surrounded by unique water features, lakes, ornamental ponds and shaded areas, and is crisscrossed with bicycle lanes and pedestrian paths. It was designed among others by the international firm HOK and Moshe Zur Architects, and was built according to international green building standards under LEED certification.

Strategic location

The park is located adjacent to the Beer Sheva North train station, Ben Gurion University, Soroka Hospital and the IDF’s new telecommunications and IT campus, with access to major transport arteries and Highway 6.
