The Gav-Yam Hebrew University of Jerusalem Campus is the first high-tech campus in Israel operating within an academic institution, and is located in the heart of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The campus houses development centers of leading technology companies, alongside top-tier financial and business firms.
The direct connection to the university creates a unique environment of convergence between academia and industry, research and application, and innovation and entrepreneurship, positioning Jerusalem as a leading international center of technology, research and development.
Gav-Yam Hebrew Campus creates a rare synergy between the infrastructure, knowledge and human capital of the Hebrew University and the entrepreneurial spirit of Israeli businesses and hi-tech. As a magnet for Israeli and international hi-tech, the campus offers an innovative and green work environment – with a wide variety of R&D spaces, collaborative labs, shared workspaces, stylish offices and more.
The project is the result of revolutionary cooperation between Gav-Yam and the Hebrew University: Israel’s oldest university and one of the world’s top 90 universities. Gav-Yam’s vast experience in establishing and managing business parks positions it as the ideal partner for the project.
In addition to being a center for academia and industry, Gav-Yam Hebrew Campus will connect the university with the surrounding neighborhoods, and form a vibrant business hub, with retail, cafés, lifestyle shops and more.
Gav-Yam Hebrew Campus extends over some 30 dunams, and is the first building in Jerusalem with a Class A+ rating. The campus was designed by Moshe Zur, one of Israel’s veteran architects, and draws inspiration from the Old City walls – with balcony and rooftop areas that blend the stunning campus with the surrounding landscape. Furthermore, the park will include an abundance of green and built spaces for the benefit of its tenants and guests.
The campus is located within Givat Ram, near leading academic and technology institutions in Jerusalem, the Government Complex, upscale residential neighborhoods and the future student dorms of the university.
The campus benefits from access to Menachem Begin Boulevard, Highway 16 and a light rail station to be built at the entrance. It will offer around 1,300 parking spaces, in addition to a nearby parking lot with 2,275 spaces being constructed by the Jerusalem Municipality.
