At Gav-Yam we are committed to the highest standards of green and innovative construction. All of our development projects are designed and implemented in accordance with the LEED certification system, a leading international benchmark for sustainable construction developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) includes comprehensive rating systems for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of green buildings, from offices and workspaces to residential neighborhoods. LEED is constantly updated by some 20,000 council members, in order to ensure the implementation of advanced environmental solutions and resource conservation.
Gav-Yam’s projects apply innovative methods to save energy and water: advanced energy centers, water recycling facilities, charging stations for electric vehicles, smart shading systems for regulating light and heat, etc. The tenants of our buildings benefit from a healthy, efficient and economical environment, alongside a significant contribution to protecting the planet.
Gav-Yam donates to community projects, public initiatives and other worthy causes, motivated by a broad vision of responsibility and shared destiny.
In addition, Gav-Yam has adopted a matching donations policy:
for every employee who presents a receipt for donation to a recognized NGO, we double the donation to the same non-profit.
Gav-Yam is an integral part of the Israeli story. Our projects are intertwined not only with the country’s skyline and history, but also with all of its residents and communities.
This is why we invest not only in real estate, but in the entire ecosystem surrounding our projects.
We cooperate with the companies located in our parks to create supportive human environments, knowing that together we can create significant added value for all park employees and the surrounding communities.
Prime examples can be found among others in the growing Gav-Yam Negev project, which employs thousands of workers from Beer Sheva and surrounding areas; or at the Talk&Tech innovation and community center at Park Matam –
offering an abundance of activities connecting hi-tech with academia and the nonprofit sector in the ecosystem of Haifa and the north.
